updates:
Thursday, November 20, 2008 10:06 AMi don't have much time b/c i'm really really hungry.
a crazy guy drove a semi into the bank downstairs. the girls & i got woken up by deputies beating on our door. no damage to our apartment or any of our stuff. so that happened.
i went to new york to visit those guys. we had a really great time, i took a few pictures on touch push, but i have to keep him away from my laptop or i'll lose everybody's phone numbers again.
i went to london to visit emily. we went to parliment, we saw the new james bond movie (i fell asleep, but have since seen it again w/ dad and stayed awake and it was really good), we ate amazing curry and made dinner at the marder's apartment and it was awesome. we saw a concert at the dublin castle in camden, and all the bands pretty much sucked except for "the soviets" from scotland.
emily took the pictures b/c she's got the skills in that department. she's sending them to me. you'll see them soon.
i'm sorry to have to cut this extremely important post short, but i have to drive to st george isalnd to get chicken wings.

this article caught my eye for a couple reasons:
-picture of talking heads album
-i thought article author richard metzger was bob pollard collaborator richard meltzer
anyway, it's a good article, and those SACD's are cool. i don't have an SACD player, but whatever. i don't have a blue-ray dvd or abdominal muscles either. but i have a fridge in my bedroom full of fancy sodas like rhubarb and lavender and lemongrass. i have kumquat, too. i wish someone would just make-bubbly and bottle watermelon juice.

"capitalismos, favorite boy child, we must apologise,
up in the rafters a rope is danglin',
spots before the eyes of rock n' roll..."
don't think i'm lame b/c i'm only just now getting into the Mekons. it's probably your fault for not introducing me to them sooner.
that video good. notice that Jon Langford is wearing a Sun Records shirt. also, that he would dominate guitar hero with the turn-guitar-sideways move.
truck is coming. i just dreamt of QS96 rollerskating while Erik & I were recording cds to put in meals on wheels boxes. the limping piano lady was producing and Jes was there.
